Dakar T1.1 4X4 Prototype based on a McRae Enduro Chassis (first in class 2009 Dakar Rally, as Featured in Autosport, Motorport News , Autocar and Total Off Road Magazine).

Total bare metal rebuild by MRacing (X-Raid Portugal) from the ground up, modified to meet current 2.9m FIA wheelbase distance, developed with MOTEC, further development and current maintenance by MDVSE UK.

Perfect car for the Rally Raid / Baja / Cross Country amateur / enthusiast. Maximum fun & reliability with minimal cost due to hybrid use of standard (Land Rover & BMW) parts with key racing components. Land Rover diffs, engine mounts, steering rack, bearings, bushes. T45 Steel Tubular Space Frame Chassis, with bolt on Front and Rear Subframes and Composite lightweight body panels.

Engine

3.0L BMW M57 Turbo Diesel, BOSCH ECU, BOSCH Solenoid Injectors and GARRETT Vacuum actuated Turbo, currently programmed with standard BMW power 260hp / 540 Newtons torque, for absolute maximum reliability on long Rally Raids. Extremely low fuel consumption.

2 x BOSCH fuel pumps for redundancy. 245L Advanced Fuel Systems Fuel Cell with 3L swirl pot to eliminate fuel starvation on steep climbs with low / near empty tank.
